Position Sensors
RHE - Rotary Position
Single Channel
Non-contact rotary position sensors are designed to measure the angular position of a moving shaft or actuator. Due to their non-contact design, they offer high reliability and signal integrity. Any measurement angle up to 360° can be supplied with a rising or falling output. The sensors are based on Hall Effect technology measuring the change in field direction of the target magnet. When connected to an interface unit or supporting ECU it is possible to determine rotational position.
Unit supply voltage: | Ref 5Vdc or 12Vdc |
Measurement angle: | up to 360° |
Operating temperature: | -10°C to +160°C |
Channels: | 1 |
Typical applications: | Drum position, throttle position, pedal position, steering |
RHE - Rotary Position
Dual Channel
Non-contact rotary position sensors are designed to measure the angular position of a moving shaft or actuator. Duo to their non-contact design they offer high reliability and signal integrity. Any measurement angle up to 360° can be supplied with a rising or falling output or a combination of both. Dual channel output allows dual redundancy. The sensors are based on Hall Effect technology measuring the change in field direction of the target magnet. When connected to an interface unit or supporting ECU it is possible to determine rotational position.

RHE - Rotary Position
Triple Channel
Non-contact rotary position sensors are designed to measure the angular position of a moving shaft or actuator. Duo to their non-contact design they offer high reliability and signal integrity. Any measurement angle up to 360° can be supplied with a rising or falling output or a combination of both. Dual channel output allows dual redundancy. The sensors are based on Hall Effect technology measuring the change in field direction of the target magnet. When connected to an interface unit or supporting ECU it is possible to determine rotational position.

LHE - Linear Position
Linear position sensors are designed to measure the relative movement between parts. The sensor uses Hall effect technology to detect the changing magnetic field of a target magnet as it moves relative to the sensor. The change in magnetic field produces a proportional change in output voltage of the sensor. When connected to an interface unit or supporting ECU it is possible to determine linear position.
Unit supply voltage: | 5Vdc (The sensor is ratiometric and assumes a reference 5V supply) or 12 Vdc |
Output range: | 0.2V to 4.8V |
Operating temperature: | -10°C to +175°C |
Stroke: | 2mm to 50 mm |
Typical applications: | Brake master cylinder stroke, LPA stroke, suspension travel, throttle pedal travel, actuator travel |
Long Stroke Position Sensor
Linear position sensors are designed to measure the relative movement between parts. The sensor uses Hall effect technology to detect the changing magnetic field of a target magnet as it moves relative to the sensor. The change in magnetic field produces a proportional change in output voltage of the sensor. Due to advanced compensation algorithms the sensor is not affected by change in air gap and off axis movement of the detection magnet (within limits stated). When connected via CAN to an interface unit or supporting ECU it is possible to determine linear position.
Unit supply voltage: | 8 to 16Vdc |
Output range: | 0.2V to 4.8V (CAN option available) |
Operating temperature: | -10°C to +125°C |
Stroke: | 105 to 180mm* |
Typical applications: | Suspension Travel, Variable Trumpet Travel, Actuator Travel |
